Description
Description Mixes chemicals for water treatment or uses premixed chemicals. Maintains water treatment work and production records. Rakes sludge beds and shovels dry sludge for disposal. Follows correct procedures to avoid wasting dirt. Takes periodic samples of the cement clear water pond and maintains accurate sampling records. Performs minor maintenance on the equipment such as the pumps and baler. Dumps waste, pressure washes, scrapes bed walls, paints, and performs other housekeeping duties in the environmental area. Performs other duties as assigned by management. Requirements Basic math skills are required to be able to measure chemicals, understand gauges, and determine the amount of water used. Reading and writing skills are necessary to be able to keep accurate records and to read formulas and procedures. Must be able to follow the chemical formulas.
