Job Description AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Wastewater Process Engineer for full-time employment based in the Markham, ON office. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Design a variety of multi-disciplinary municipal water and/or wastewater projects including studies, engineering design, design reports, approvals, contract administration, and warranty services. Support the production of engineered drawings including review and approval of final design Perform and review engineering design calculations in support of design packages. Prepare detailed contract specifications including equipment selection and liaison with equipment suppliers and vendors. Consistently deliver on each project to achieve top-tier industry benchmarks for quality and overall project delivery. Participate in business development activities including the development of proposal submissions. Effectively maintain and develop healthy client relationship throughout the project execution and project close-out. Create a team environment that supports AECOM’s Client focus, where employees meet the expectations, requirements, and agreements of our Clients. Define the project quality requirements. Ensure compliance with AECOM and Client quality policies and procedures. Provide mentoring and technical support of junior staff. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, Process Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related field 6 years of experience working with municipal Water/Wastewater infrastructure. Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or eligible within 6-12months. Process engineering knowledge and application to water and wastewater treatment facilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with steam and incinerator system design Interest/experience with Project management Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills Motivated, team player, independent, organized with strong business acumen Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficient in common desktop packages, i.e. Word, Excel, MS Project Additional Information Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position.
