Community Impact - Help support and improve your local community ABOUT THE ROLE Ventia, in partnership with the Far North District Council, operates and maintains vital water infrastructure across the region, including: 9 water treatment plants, 17 wastewater treatment plants, 750+ km of pipeline, 100+ pump stations. We also deliver minor capital works to improve these assets. What your day might look like: Standard hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (with occasional overtime) Hands-on work at water and wastewater treatment plants Working in a supportive team environment Using mobile devices for timesheets and job tracking On-call roster: 1 week in 4 (with overtime opportunities) This is a reactive maintenance role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and problem-solving ABOUT YOU We’re not looking for perfection – we’re looking for potential. Whether you’ve worked on a farm, done plumbing, irrigation, or just enjoy hands-on work, we want to hear from you. What we’re really looking for: A great attitude and willingness to learn Reliability and a strong work ethic Someone who enjoys working on site and in a team Minimum Requirements A Full Class 1 driver’s licence (Class 2 and WTR are even better!)
