Description

MPS Group, Inc., is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Manager based in Oshawa, ON. This individual is responsible for overseeing all aspects of MPS operational contracts and ensuring long term security and growth of business operations. This is accomplished by performing the following duties. Responsibilities and Job duties: * Prepares project budgets and analyze operational issues; responsible for financial impact of the operating business units assigned. * Attend job walkthroughs; coordinates with other MPS Group operating divisions to provide quality services and excellent customer services. * Prepares and presents proposals to clients. * Staffing and development of Project Managers and support staff with hands on activities related to safety, hiring, training, directing work, performance management, compensation and rewards, discipline and problem resolution. * Ensures timely and proactive communications with employees, customers, subcontractors, and senior leadership regarding daily activities and future planning needs. * Establishes and maintains clear line of sight between contracts, purchase orders, volume reports, budget activity and compliance reporting. * Responsible for capital equipment and facilities management for assigned work sites including areas assigned by host companies. * Key contact for customer, inter-departmental and community interaction in the region assigned with focus on strong customer relationships. Requirements and Qualifications: * Minimum of three years of experience with increasing responsibilities in a management role with operations, sales and estimating background. * The successful candidate will have a four- year degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or related science field. Preferred Qualifications: * Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM) and/or Professional Engineer (PE) certifications.

The Wastewater Treatment Manager oversees operational contracts, manages project budgets, and ensures the financial health of assigned business units. They are also responsible for staff development, client relations, and maintaining compliance across all operational sites.
