The role: * Core function includes investigation, design and implementation of a range of projects involving stormwater, water supply, wastewater, transport and multidisciplinary projects. * Develop good business relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure required project outcomes are met and client satisfaction is maintained at a high standard. * Preparation of high-quality reports, correspondence and other deliverables, as required. * Perform office and site-based roles, including working with virtual teams across GHD offices nationally and internationally. * Provide guidance to graduate design engineers on projects and be able to train and mentor them. About you: * A relevant university degree in Civil engineering with at least 5+ year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. * Knowledge and understanding of industry design standards and guidelines * Working knowledge of public and private sector * Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) * Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word * Design software skills (i.e., 12D, Civil3D, ACAD, GIS) * Ability to nurture and develop teamwork within the group * Organised in multitasking of self and others and able to meet deadlines * Ability to be proactive and take ownership of projects * Self-motivated and energetic * Flexible in your approach to challenges Click ‘Apply’ to submit your CV or reach out to Zen Chua (zen.chua@ghd.com [zen.chua@ghd.com]) for more information.
