Watford General Hospital is seeking a dedicated Water Flusher to join their Estates Management Team. This vital role supports the Trust’s commitment to water hygiene and safety across the hospital, ensuring compliance with all regulations and contributing to patient care.

· Undertake essential water hygiene activities, including water flushing, temperature monitoring, record keeping, and fault reporting.
· Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks.
· Work in accordance with HTMs, HBNs, British Standards, Building Regulations, and Trust Policies to maintain compliance and safety.
· Use all relevant PPE, tools, and equipment safely and effectively.
· Identify and report any faults or deviations from water safety regulations.
· Plan and execute maintenance activities efficiently, sometimes in collaboration with other trades.
· Maintain accurate records using electronic systems.
· Occasionally work in sensitive environments such as ITU, children’s wards, and the mortuary.
· Support new staff induction and respond to emergency tasks when required.
