WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE ROLE?

As a Water Hygiene Engineer, you will be attending clients’ sites to provide industry-leading service to ensure compliance.

MAIN DUTIES:

• Assigned a specific portfolio of sites to ensure consistency of service/schedule.
• Attend client’s sites to provide services as required in line with ACoP L8, and closed system maintenance PPM schedules. Systems to include domestic system, heating, chilled, condense closed systems
• Take ownership of assigned sites and work with the account manager and the client’s site team to maintain water systems and upsell elements within the portfolio assigned.
• Identify upsells/recommendations
• Ensure logbooks are always up to date and in an auditable position, highlighting shortfalls from site staff when tasks such as flushing are not being recorded.
• Maintaining in-depth knowledge of regulations through in-house and external training.

While we highly value these qualities, there are specific skills essential for the role:

• Practical working knowledge in ACoP L8 & HSG274
• A full driving licence
• Be able to pass a DBS clearance for working in schools, colleges etc
• Confident and capable of working in confined spaces (training to be provided)
• Confident and capable of working at height (training to be provided)
• Willing to work alone and independently
• Have a positive can-do attitude
• Willing to travel to various jobs throughout your working day
• Good work ethic, taking pride in the work, you do
• Strong verbal and written communication skill
