COMPANY OVERVIEW – WATER HYGIENE TECHNICIAN

Our client, is a well-established and reputable company with over twenty years of industry experience. They are recognised for delivering high-quality building engineering and support services and are now looking for an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join their growing team.

WATER HYGIENE TECHNICIAN SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a water hygiene role (Essential)
• Knowledge of ACOP L8 & HSG 274 (Parts 1, 2 & 3)
• Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds water industry certifications, Legionella Awareness training)
• Strong IT skills and ability to use PDA/compliance systems
• A positive, proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Full UK driving licence and clean DBS record (Essential)

• Carry out water testing and compliance checks
• Undertake tasks including temperature monitoring, TMV servicing, chemical descaling, flushing, disinfection works, and sampling
• Support colleagues with tank cleans and hot water system servicing (including calorifiers and expansion vessels)
• Ensure all works meet LCA standards
• Represent the company professionally on client sites and maintain strong client relationships
• Work closely with other engineers, supporting and sharing knowledge as part of a skilled and supportive team
