Job Description What we’re looking for? We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our drainage team and be involved with ongoing construction and development work. More specifically, we have recently secured a large project within the Southland District which will require a full time on-site foreman to lead our daily planning and operations. You will be responsible for safely leading the installation of PE infrastructure and various components of our contracts, delivering quality workmanship and ultimately exceeding our clients’ expectations with the end product. The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Foreperson to lead our infrastructure crew in the Southland Region. This is an awesome opportunity for an experienced foreperson, or someone with drainage experience who is looking to take a step up in their career. The employment package will include market leading benefits, attractive allowances for overnight/away working, time and half after 40hours and a vehicle. We are looking for someone with: Level 4 Pipeline construction - water infrastructure certificate (or currently studying towards a qualification in drainage/pipe laying) Experience in the installation of pressure pipelines Proven ability to lead a team Full class 2 drivers licence and WTR endorsements Experience in plant operation and general construction experience Strong work ethic and positive attitude towards maintaining a safe working environment Focus on quality workmanship with good problem solving skills Ability to work productively with minimal supervision Excellent verbal and written communication skills Fulton Hogan Philosophy We build and maintain critical infrastructure that connects and enhances communities across New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific.
