We are looking for a Water Labourer to join our Utilities Division in Gisborne. As a vital part of our water team, you’ll help maintain a consistent supply of high-quality water to the community, minimising disruptions. Your responsibilities will include assisting with both the reactive and scheduled repair and maintenance of water reticulation networks. We’re looking for someone with: Hold a full Class 1 Driver’s Licence Ideally have WTR endorsements and have experience operating plant and equipment Experience in the water industry or the civil/construction industry is advantageous A genuine interest in the water industry and motivation to work towards obtaining relevant qualifications Confident in using hand tools and small machinery Demonstrate self-motivation and work well as part of a friendly, collaborative team Show a strong understanding of health and safety practices, with a commitment to upholding these standards in the workplace Creating, Connecting and caring for the community Our people regularly donate their time to local causes and initiatives, while at a regional and national level we provide financial support, skills and resources to a wide range of organisations that are strengthening our communities.
