COMPETENCIES / EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE

  • Dynamic and collaborative individual with excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Problem Solving skills with the ability to work up solutions.
  • I.T skills to be able to record accurate data and setup telemetry communications.
  • Demonstrating an understanding of hydraulic principles and experience in water network management is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of engaging with a multitude of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as acting on your own initiative.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

The role of a Network Technician is to provide specialist pressure management services and network telemetry. We do this by maintaining our pressure regulating valves and ensuring our system is optimised to provide a calm and stable supply of wholesome water for our customers. The role will support in our mains conditioning programme by providing water quality telemetry data for these operations.

  • Identify improvements required to deliver effective and efficient business processes.
  • Complete tasks in compliance with regulatory standards, e.g. – Water Hygiene, Environmental, NRSWA (New Roads & Street Works Act), Health & Safety (confined spaces).
