WHY ARE WE RECRUITING?

We’re looking for Water Quality Analysts to build a strong pool of talented new starters within our Field Sampling team for immediate and future projects offering 2-year term opportunities.
You will be required to perform routine, non-routine and complex collection and field analyses of samples from a variety of environments, using a range of equipment to meet customer quality and time expectations and regulatory and operational requirements.

As part of this team, your duties will include:

  • Operate complex scientific instrumentation, in various Field/laboratory environments
  • Maintain, perform basic services to, and trouble shoot field instruments
  • Interpret and assess quality control data and results
  • Demonstrate understanding of the quality system and quality requirements
  • Provide guidance in areas of quality and safety and provide relevant training
  • Work cooperatively with team members to ensure customer requirements are met and operations are efficient
  • Identify and report potential opportunities to optimise assets, equipment, systems and processes
  • Undertake problem solving and troubleshooting in the field and assist team members with problem resolution
  • Provide knowledge of and compliance to NATA accreditation requirements
  • Work safely, undertake risk assessments and report hazards and incidents
  • Demonstrate technical competence to the degree required to be an approved signatory/authorise results
