The State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Financial Assistance has an opening for a Water Resource Control Engineer in the Clean Water State Revolving Fund Program. The position resides in the CalEPA Building at 1001 I Street, 16th Floor, Sacramento, CA 95814.
Duties:
Under the close supervision of a Senior Water Resources Control Engineer, the Water Resource Control Engineer (WRCE) acts as a project manager for supporting and approving project funding for the planning, design and construction of wastewater and recycled water infrastructure projects. Knowledge of water/wastewater treatment facilities, water pumping, storage, and collection/distribution facilities is necessary for the incumbent to successfully manage projects in this position. The project manager is assigned a portfolio of projects to manage from project inception through construction completion/implementation. Travel to project locations and stakeholder meetings will be required.

SALARY INFORMATION – CALHR SALARY RULES ALLOW APPOINTMENT AT THE ENTRANCE RATE (CAL. CODE REGS., TIT. 2, § 599.673) OF A CLASSIFICATION. FOR CLASSES WITH ALTERNATE RANGES, PLACEMENT IS BASED ON EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE.
