What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead technical delivery of WINEP (Water Industry National Environment Programme) workstreams and environmental improvement initiatives
  • Assess water abstraction impacts on operations and ensure sustainable water resource management
  • Develop and maintain Water Resource Management Plans (WRMP) and Drought Management Plans (DMP)
  • Manage regulatory compliance including liaison with regulators, coordinating submissions, and abstraction license renewals
  • Conduct complex technical data analysis and generate detailed technical reports for regulatory submissions
  • Collaborate with internal operations teams and manage relationships with external stakeholders including regulators and consultants
  • Provide technical expertise and strategic guidance on water resources and environmental programs

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in water resources, environmental programmes and abstraction management
  • Proven experience working in a regulated environment with regulatory reporting and liaison responsibilities
  • Excellent data analysis capabilities and strong communication abilities
  • Expert-level relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong technical expertise in interpreting water abstraction impact models and environmental assessments
  • Advanced time management and continuous improvement skills
  • Expert IT proficiency for complex modeling and data analysis
