PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-5 years of water resources planning, stormwater design, dam safety, and/or condition assessment experience
  • Experience developing and executing water resource planning and design projects is preferred
  • Proficiency with working and collaborating in virtual environments (MS Teams, WebEx, Zoom)
  • Proficiency with some or all of the following software applications and models
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project)
  • ESRI ArcGIS or QGIS
  • AutoCAD

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 3 years related work experience All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Support hydrologic and hydraulic planning, modeling, and design of stormwater and wet weather improvements, including open channels, storm sewer systems, stormwater detention/retention facilities, dams, levees, and reservoirs.

  • Support water supply planning that provides long-term resilient supplies and mitigates climate change, regulatory uncertainty, aging infrastructure, and population growth/demand changes.
  • Support planning and design of green infrastructure, low impact development, and sustainable watershed measures, including structural BMPs.
  • Support erosion and sediment control planning and design, including SWPPP development.
  • Interface with innovative stormwater, water quality, and planning partners to leverage new technologies and approaches for the benefit of our clients.
