ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Water Systems Consultant to join our field team carrying out water monitoring visits and Legionella risk assessments across a range of different property types. This role is ideal for someone with monitoring experience who can be trained further, as we are very open to candidates with less experience that we can develop. Flexibility, practical skills and common sense are required as each job is different.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out regular water monitoring at a range of properties in our contract portfolio, including temperature monitoring, tank inspections, sampling, checking of remedial works and completion of inspection forms and visit reports
  • Conduct in-depth site surveys at new properties and produce Legionella risk assessment reports with hand drawn schematic drawings of water systems
  • Compile lists of suitable remedial works, provide solution options and assign appropriate priorities
  • Plan and organise own workload effectively
  • Undertake occasional ventilation system surveys and air quality monitoring (subject to further training)
  • Work safely and help implement the BMS Health & Safety policy
  • Maintain high standards and ensure quality of service is always maintained
  • Communicate any site issues/cancellations to the Field Service Manager
  • Travel to and from sites safely with occasional overnight stays
  • Return reports within required time frames
