Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Water Technical Systems Manager is a key leadership role responsible for the management of the water technical systems, team, and equipment at the LLF greenhouse. This position will create processes, systems, and structures to ensure all water technical equipment and infrastructure are operating reliably, efficiently, and safely. This person will hire and lead a high-performing team, manage water technical related capital projects, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive success at the site level. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Hire and develop a high-performing water technical team. Coordinate internally with construction and key vendors to lead commissioning, qualification, and validation of key water technical equipment and systems. Develop and implement systems, structures, and processes to ensure water technical systems all operate effectively and reliably. Develop and implement a comprehensive PM program for water technical systems to reduce downtime and increase overall equipment effectiveness. Manage key reactive maintenance, when necessary, to minimize any downtime in water technical systems. Define what success looks like for the water technical organization using measurable data and key performance indicators (KPIs). Lead the team toward achieving that success every day. Optimize CMMS systems to track water technician performance and KPI’s, manage work orders, and control parts inventory. Develop a cohesive relationship with key vendors and establish a regular business review cadence focusing on key improvement opportunities, service agreements and overall collaboration. Manage and execute key capital projects related to water technical systems on time and within budget. Develop a culture of continuous improvement among the team and manage and promote CI initiatives. Work cross-functionally with construction, growing, and maintenance to drive operational success. Requirements REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS: Associates degree or higher level of education, Bachelor’s degree preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office and other data analysis tools 5+ years of relevant experience in water technical roles, such as plumbing, electrical, or water utility. Experience with CMMS systems Understanding of PLC programming, Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills Strong background in hiring and developing high-performing teams Physically capable of performing essential job functions, including light lifting/climbing, and walking Strong understanding of OSHA safety protocols The foregoing statements describe the general purpose and responsibilities assigned to this job and are not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and duties that may be assigned or skills that may be required.
