JOB SUMMARY

The Water Treatment Operator will be responsible for operating, maintaining and inspecting water treatment facilities and related equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitors, analyses and adjusts process parameters.
  • Performs data trending analysis and interpretation at various stages of the treatment process and maintains accurate records and logs.
  • Undertakes minor servicing of equipment.
  • Participates on project teams and assists in the evaluation and implementation of capital projects and optimization.
  • Conducts facility tours for members of the public, schools, Regional staff and Council.
  • Carries out housekeeping, janitorial and general maintenance duties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
