Job Description Lead the operation and maintenance of 14 Drinking Water Treatment Plants (DWTPs) in Luanda and Icolo & Bengo, Angola, assessing and improving operational conditions to enhance plant efficiency Manage a team of 12 people, optimizing organization of operations, maintenance work, energy consumption, technical water usage, reagent use, and asset management Collaborate with SCADA experts and rehabilitation specialists to implement monitoring systems and commission new and renewed assets Develop and track key performance indicators to measure plant operation improvements and water quality, reporting internally and to EPAL Implement and improve Health and Safety practices in water treatment facilities Execute the WIKTI methodology for knowledge transfer, identifying training needs and assessing EPAL's maturity in water production Implement a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for proper asset registration and maintenance scheduling Manage relationships with partners and protect company interests while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Hydraulic Engineering, Automation, or Chemistry Minimum of 15 years of experience in water treatment plant operations and management of teams and DWTPs Advanced knowledge of water treatment processes, including predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance of water production assets Proficiency in English; knowledge of French and Portuguese is highly desirable Strong skills in MS Office applications Expertise in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and SCADA systems In-depth understanding of water quality norms and standards Proven ability to interpret complex technical documentation, including manuals, operating procedures, and equipment specifications Excellent knowledge of occupational hazards and Health and Safety regulations in water treatment facilities Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on knowledge transfer and training Demonstrated project management abilities, including planning, organizing, and meeting deadlines Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach Adaptability and resilience to work effectively in a foreign environment with minimal supervision Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in water treatment processes Additional Information Starting date : Early 2026 Duration : Minimum 3 years Rotation status : single or family resident status (expatriate package)
