Description

Regional consulting firm looking to add a talented Water/Wastewater Engineer to their Chicago, Illinois area office! Responsibilities: Prepare engineering documents (plans, specifications, models, cost estimates, project schedules) Provide project management on water/wastewater systems and related components Work on design project (water/sanitary mains, pumping stations, storage tanks/reservoirs, water/wastewater treatment plants, and well water systems) Prepare engineering reports, drawings, and specifications Prepare estimates, schedules, and change order for public improvements Construction administration duties and periodic inspection during construction of water/wastewater facilities Attend municipal board meetings Requirements B.S. degree in Civil Engineering EIT or PE license preferred 5+ years of experience Municipal water and/or wastewater systems design experience (modeling creation, calibration, and evaluation) Knowledge of IEPA, IDEM, and Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Chicago permitting processes preferred Microsoft Office experience (Word/Excel) Salary is commensurate with experience.
