Let’s Level Up! Job Summary: The Water Park Attendant’s primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of all guests utilizing water park areas. This includes monitoring pools, hot tubs, slides, attractions, and other interactive features. Weekend availability is required.  Position is part time with full time hours available to a candidate willing to train in multiple departments. Duties/Responsibilities:  • Prioritize the safety and well-being of all hotel water park guests  • Maintain the operational effectiveness of water park facilities and promptly report any maintenance issues to the Hotel General Manager  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of pool areas and corridors to include removing trash, wiping down shelves/counters; sweeping, moping and/or vacuuming floors; and removing non-pool related items and storing in appropriate areas  • Provide assistance to guests with attractions and immediately report any inquiries they may have  • Execute daily startup and closure procedures for water park attractions  • Support emergency response plans as directed by the Hotel General Manager  • Address and resolve guest complaints and issues effectively  • Participate in regular meetings with other hotel personnel  • Report all incidents and accidents to the on-duty Manager  • Deliver lost and found items according to established procedures  • May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects  • Performs other related duties as assigned  Required Skills/Abilities:  • Familiarity with the water park and other resort facilities.  • Must maintain high standards in grooming and professional appearance  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  • Detail-oriented and thorough  • Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests  • Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards   • Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly way  Education and Experience:  • Maintain a current CPR / First Aid Certification  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate emergency responses with hotel staff & guests  • Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed  Physical Requirements:  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift.  • Must be able to access and navigate the facility.  • Employees are required to adhere to safety requirements by wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment.  • Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 75lbs. The shifts will include Friday evenings from 4:00pm to 10:30pm and a shift either Saturday or Sunday. Those shifts will either be 7:45am-2:30pm or 4:00pm to 10:30pm. An additional weekday evening shift is a possibility as well.
Responsibilities
Ensure the safety of guests utilizing water park attractions and maintain the cleanliness and operational effectiveness of the facilities. Handle guest inquiries, execute opening and closing procedures, and report all incidents to management.
