New England Waterproofing is a family owned and operated full service waterproofing company. We are based In Natick, Massachusetts and have offices throughout the New England area. Our Owner and President of New England Waterproofing believes in providing an environment where our employees can learn, excel, and grow into lifelong careers within the organization. We are currently looking to fill a Waterproofing Technician position in Plymouth, MA. As a Waterproofing Technician, you will play a crucial and specialized role in our team. You will be responsible for Applying waterproofing treatments to a variety of projects, including interior and exterior masonry, windows, door frames and concrete paving joints. Installing caulking: To prevent water damage, technicians install caulking in joints. Preparing surfaces: Technicians may prepare surfaces for waterproofing application. Applying waterproofing: Technicians may apply waterproofing processes to wet areas, both above and below ground level. They may also apply sealants, coatings, and membranes, such as torch-on, TPO, PVC, and trafficable liquid membranes. Inspecting joints: Technicians may inspect joints to ensure they are sound. They may also perform integrity and troubleshooting tests to identify any defects in the project's waterproofing. Solve problems on job sites Communicate with customers and central office Skills Requirements Prior experience in waterproofing or constructions is a plus, but not required. We will train you in proper waterproofing techniques. OSHA 10 certification is a plus but not required Demonstrate effective communication skills, be capable of performing multiple tasks and possess organizational and problem-solving skills Must be self-motivated, self-starter and a hard worker Demonstrated experience taking direction and instruction from others, team player Proven ability to complete tasks correctly and on time Ability to make decisions, communicate well with customers and have constant contact with the home office Ability to work with your hands, operate power tools and meet the physical demands of the job Shift Schedules: M-F 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Compensation: $23 - $27/hour
Responsibilities
As a Waterproofing Technician, you will apply waterproofing treatments to various projects and install caulking to prevent water damage. You will also inspect joints and solve problems on job sites while communicating with customers and the central office.
