Description Lake Lawn Resort is seeking an energetic and guest-focused Seasonal Watersports Attendant to support daily operations at our waterfront rental center. This hands-on outdoor role assists with boat rentals, equipment instruction, and guest safety while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced resort environment. Position Details Employment Type: Seasonal Shift: Flexible / Any Shift (Days, Weekends, Holidays) Department: Watersports What You’ll Do Support daily operations of the watersports and boat rental center. Fuel rental boats and shuttle them between the marina and rental center. Maintain cleanliness and organization of rental buildings, docks, piers, and surrounding grounds. Operate cash registers and process rental fees, credit card transactions, and payments accurately. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest questions, requests, and concerns. Instruct guests on safe and proper operation of rental boats and watersports equipment. Assist with non-motorized watercraft rentals (kayaks, paddleboards, etc.) as needed. Monitor rental boats on the water to ensure timely return and guest safety compliance. Assist with seaweed and debris removal in marina and rental areas. Complete opening and closing procedures for the rental operation. Explain rental agreements, waivers, and safety procedures to guests. Assist guests both on-site and on the docks with any operational issues. Represent Lake Lawn Resort professionally and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Support additional marina and watersports duties as assigned by management. Requirements What We’re Looking For Previous boating, marina, watersports, recreation, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required. Strong communication and guest service skills. Comfort working outdoors and in a waterfront environment. Ability to follow safety procedures and provide clear instructions to guests. Must be able to swim 100 yards without flotation assistance. Valid driver’s license required. Dependable, responsible, and safety minded. Ability to work flexible seasonal schedules including weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to swim and work safely around water at all times. Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and repetitive motion. Ability to lift and move boats, equipment, and supplies as needed. Exposure to sun, heat, wind, rain, and changing outdoor conditions. Active role requiring extended time on docks, piers, and waterfront areas. Work Environment Outdoor marina and lakefront environment. High guest interaction in a seasonal, fast-paced setting. Exposure to water, boats, fuel, and marine equipment. Work includes both physical labor and direct guest service responsibilities.
