WORKING PROCEDURE:

The following are the usual major job duties, but this job description does not preclude the performance of other duties as assigned by the supervisor:

  • WAX Goal: The ultimate goal of a Wax Operator is to be cross trained for all jobs within the department. Operators are given the opportunity and will be expected to train with the goal of achieving “Wax Operator B” status.

SPECIAL SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • A fully and properly trained “C” classification of Wax Operator must be able to perform introductory wax injection, introductory wax rework, introductory assembly, intermediate wax injection, basic wax rework, basic subassembly / assembly (with 1 exemption), and Motoman operation. There may be one exemption to these training requirements.
  • Candidate must be able to read and understand verbal and / or written instructions
  • A vision requirement of 20/30 near correctable is necessary
  • Requires sufficient strength and physical dexterity to frequently lift up to 35 lbs.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
