This role bridges the gap between high-level logistics routing and the granular, day-to-day oversight of freight forwarders, steamship lines, and 3PL partners. You will ensure that Autonomous Driving Vehicles (ADVs) move through the global supply chain with precision, compliance, and cost-efficiency. Capable of processing shipments, track and trace, working directly with the customer and other departments in harmony, while maintaining a high standard of work and delivering excellent results Responsibilities ● Partner with freight forwarders to build and refine optimal logistics routings for new and existing international markets. ● Identify optimal US and international ports based on transit times, costs, sailing frequency, and carrier options (prioritizing vessel owners/SSLs). ● Work with freight forwarder partners to evaluate and onboard warehousing 3PL/4PL solutions (origin and in-market) to support vehicle containerization, inspections, etc. ● Collect and analyze cost vs. service data to facilitate SOW and PO creation. ● Enhance customer relationships by identifying and articulating areas for improvement in the overall customer experience ● Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional departments, as well as carriers, vendors, and other service providers ● Manage the execution of inland transportation from upfit centers to domestic ports, monitor vessel schedules to align with program timelines. ● Collaborate with the Fleet Deployment (FD&R) team to track vehicle readiness and synchronize truck pickups/deliveries ● Provide rigorous oversight of forwarders to ensure timely container pulls, loading, and documentation accuracy. ● Ensure VIN-level detail, including Container and Seal IDs, are accurately captured for Packing Lists and Commercial Invoices. ● Coordinate with Dangerous good teams to schedule inspections after loading but prior to document cutoffs ● Partner with Trade Compliance to resolve potential blockers and ensure all tracking numbers and delivery documents are provided to import brokers ● Maintain real-time tracking of all shipments, providing clear updates to internal stakeholders and proactively resolving bottlenecks and suggest corrective actions as needed ● Maintain knowledge of customer and company policies on all aspects of product movement ● Create documented process for customers when requested - SOP/SWI creation ● Support the implementation of company’s culture within the team ● Work towards individual and department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ● Stay up to date with the best practices and techniques in supply chain and proactively apply new knowledge to improve processes Qualifications ● Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience ● Experience: 3+ years in international logistics, freight forwarding, automotive supply chain management (Finished Vehicle Logistics experience preferred). ● Deep proficiency in Incoterms, ocean freight operations, and U.S. export/import regulations. ● Proven ability to manage complex, multi-modal shipments simultaneously under tight deadlines. ● Excellent customer service skills ● Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills ● Self-starter with the ability to triage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment ● Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions ● Possesses a positive, can-do attitude ● Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google and Workspace Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
