GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The WC Claims Clerical Support role provides administrative and clerical assistance to the Workers’ Compensation Claims Department. This position supports daily claims, billing, and payment operations through accurate processing, documentation, mailing, and routing of correspondence, payments, and inquiries, while ensuring timely and efficient completion of routine clerical tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Prepare, assemble, and mail high-volume outgoing correspondence, including checks, EOBs, invoices and denial letters. * Process certified and regular mailings of C8.1 and C8.4 denials and reconsideration letters. * Provider customer service support by screening, routing and responding to routine calls and emails. * Enter payments, process replacement checks, and assist with claim data entry in WINS. * Provide backup support for daily check processing and EFT transactions in WINS and Freedom applications. * Scan, index, file, and maintain electronic and paper records.  * Assist with maintaining and updating tracking logs and spreadsheets as directed. * Assist Managers, Supervisors and team members with clerical tasks and operational support as needed. * Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: * Prior clerical or office support experience preferred. * Basic familiarity with office procedures in an insurance or claims enviroment a plus. * Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. * Ability to accurately perform repetitve clerical tasks. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Professional verbal and written communication skills.
