Job Title: Warehouse Support Assistant                                           Grade: AT4 Location: Wellingborough           Purpose of position: An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Support Assistant to provide efficient administration support to the Warehouse department.  Reporting to the Warehouse Team Managers, the above position is for a full-time role which will be on backshift (14:00-22:00) working any 5 days from 7 and will include weekend working therefore, it is essential that you are flexible in your approach to work. Duties and responsibilities: * Provide general administration support as required to aid the efficient running of operations. * Proactively manage all stock movement documentation, in line with agreed process and procedures. * To update the systems with relevant data, because of operational /pallet transactions. * To liaise with customers, haulier’s and internal customers on all issues relating to the operation. * Maintain WMS database and schedules with no effect to the service levels and stock integrity. * To ensure all handling of finished products comply with Legislative, Company & Customer requirements with respect to Food Safety, thus ensuring that all products, packaging and processes meet these requirements. * Escalate to the Warehouse Management Team any issues that are likely to affect the performance of the department, site or relationship with the customer. * To attend training courses when required. * To comply with Quality, Health and Safety procedures and to ensure a safe working environment for self and others. * To be responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and other operatives by adhering to safe working practices. * Any other duties considered necessary to fulfil the role.    Experience, skills, attributes and the Person:  * Confident communicator. * Well organised and able to work to deadlines. * Computer IT literate with good experience in using Microsoft Office – especially Excel. * Ability to work under pressure and flexible in their approach. * Sound team player and motivator who can work on own initiative. * Knowledge of Warehouse systems is desirable but not essential. * Good numerical and analytical skills paying strong attention to detail. * Driven by continual improvement and high personal standards.  
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the warehouse department, including managing stock movement documentation and updating systems. Liaise with customers and hauliers while ensuring compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations.
