We are currently seeking a Salesforce Lead Engineer for our office located in Medellin, Colombia.

This time, we are partnering with a global leader in IT infrastructure and security management solutions for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and internal IT teams, powered by AI. The company has experienced strong double-digit growth over the years, serving diverse industries in over 20 countries and managing more than 15 million endpoints globally.
In this role you will be responsible for designing, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions that meet the needs of our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimization of Salesforce within our business processes.
Key Responsibilities
️ Solution Design: Lead the design and development of Salesforce solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical standards.

Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for Salesforce implementations.

• ️ Development: Architect and build scalable, high-performing solutions using Salesforce technologies (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, etc.).

Integration: Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other internal and external systems.
Documentation: Develop and maintain Salesforce architecture and design documentation.
Deployment: Oversee the implementation and deployment of Salesforce solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Platform Efficiency: Lead efforts to enhance platform efficiency, including user experience improvements, performance optimization, and system upgrades.

Code Reviews: Enforce coding standards and best practices across the team, ensuring efficient, reusable, and scalable code.

• DevOps & CI/CD: Drive the adoption of Salesforce development lifecycle tools and processes such as DevOps, CI/CD, version control, and automated testing.

Customization: Customize Salesforce solutions using point-and-click tools as well as programmatic development (Apex, Triggers, SOQL).
️ Configuration: Configure standard and custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and approval processes.
Support: Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce-related issues, providing timely support to internal teams.
‍ Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in the organization’s Salesforce environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development, customization, & implementation, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, LWC, SOQL, SOSL, Triggers, & Flows.
Salesforce Technologies: Proficiency in Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.

Web Services: Strong knowledge of SOAP and REST web services.

• ️ Salesforce Clouds: Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, & CPQ Cloud.

️ Architecture: Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.
System Integrations: Proven experience in leading Salesforce projects, architecture design, and system integrations.

️ Middleware: Experience with Salesforce integration tools and middleware platforms.

• DevOps & CI/CD: Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Communication: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
