JOB SUMMARY:
The Software Engineering Manager II is responsible for overseeing multiple software development teams, managing projects, and driving the technical direction to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role requires strong leadership skills, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align software development with business objectives. The Manager II will mentor and guide engineers, manage resources, and ensure software development processes adhere to industry best practices.
The Engineering Manager works closely with the Product Manager to ensure delivery of business requirements and user stories that provide clear direction for the engineers to deliver an exceptional customer experience. While the Product Manager drives the commercial and customer focused vision of the product, the Engineering Manager is responsible for the quality of the product code, architecture and technical implementation.
