REQUIREMENTS:

• Certificate III/IV in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent)
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• ABN (contractor role)
• Strong communication skills and a client-centred approach

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a qualified Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to provide therapy support under contract. This role is ideal for someone looking to take on extra work and support a growing caseload of clients. You will deliver therapy programs under the guidance of Allied Health Professionals (Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists) in home and community settings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist clients with therapy programs as directed by the supervising Allied Health Professional.
• Record session notes, progress, and relevant observations.
• Maintain professional boundaries and uphold ethical standards at all times.
• Communicate client updates and concerns promptly to the supervising Allied Health Professional.
• Attend regular check-ins to review client goals, progress, and any required changes to therapy plans.
