Business Administrator We are looking for a motivated and organised Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, has strong attention to detail, and brings experience in export processes, order management, and customer communication. You will play a key part in supporting daily operations and ensuring a smooth workflow across the business. • Title: Business Administrator • Team: Admin • Reports to: Head of Admin • Location: Luton • Employment: Full-time Key Responsibilities Order & Export Administration Process and manage incoming customer orders accurately and promptly Create purchase orders and ensure suppliers receive correct information Assist with export-related documentation and basic customs requirements Liaise with couriers or freight partners to arrange shipments and track deliveries Maintain accurate export records and support compliance where needed Customer Service & Communication Create and send quotations to customers in a timely manner Respond to customer queries via phone and email, providing friendly and professional support Build positive relationships with clients and suppliers Follow up on outstanding information, delivery updates, and general order enquiries General Office Administration Manage shared inboxes and distribute emails to the relevant team members Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems Prepare general documents, correspondence, and order-related paperwork Support colleagues with day-to-day admin tasks Assist with other office duties to ensure smooth running of the department Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in an administrative role Experience with export processes and documentation Confidence in creating purchase orders, quotes, and handling incoming orders Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Positive team attitude — essential for a growing and collaborative environment Desirable Experience using ERP or order processing systems Understanding of Incoterms or international shipping procedures What We Offer Competitive salary Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth Training and development to build expertise Location This position is on-site and is based in Luton.
