Extraco Banks is seeking a Trust Specialist I to join our team. Candidates should have a strong willingness to learn and use creative thinking when taking on challenges in this role.     Summary: This role requires a detail oriented, self-motivated individual with exceptional organizational skills. An ability to analyze data, strong written and verbal skills and well as strong proficiency in MS Word and Excel are key qualifications as well. Experience: 3 years trust or banking experience.  Background in Finance, Accounting, or law are a plus. Reasonable math and accounting skills. Strong PC skills (proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).    Knowledge requirements, i.e. skills, abilities, personal characteristics:  Trust and general investment knowledge along with strong written and verbal communication skills.  Ability to multi-task and handle complex requests from clients and officers. Exhibit patience while working with a widely diverse client base. Ability to work independently. Ability to work with limited supervision. Demonstrate energy, empathy, professionalism, and problem-solving skills. Effective ability to collaborate with other support and operations departments to resolve inquiries. Demonstrate a passion for excellence. Willingly provide back-up for other assistants as needed.   Responsibilities and Duties:  * Client Relationship Management; handle requests, resolve issues, build long-term client relationships * Set up new accounts, prepare and upload new account documents while adhering to regulatory standards * Manage document workflow for tax processing. Prepare documentation specifically related to each trust account and required by CPA's * Manage and process customer Required Minimum Distributions * Create and maintain customer online trust profile and assist customer with issues surrounding online trusts services * Prepare, format, and edit monthly board reports and trust committee minutes * Manage and facilitate employee retirement process for managed retirement plans * Communicate with trust administrator regarding client needs, asset transfers, new account requirements, and organizational requirements Education: Minimum high school diploma; college degree a plus, but not required.     Extraco provides excellent benefits and competitive compensation.
