Description
The Wealth Learning and Development Manager is responsible for leading the design and implementation of training programs that build the competency requirements of the Bank’s wealth management professionals. This position involves working closely with the Wealth Management Group to align learning initiatives with business goals, regulatory requirements and industry best practices, while guiding and coordinating with WLD officers to ensure effective and high-quality program delivery.   Responsibilities: Develops an understanding of the wealth management business and stays informed on industry developments. Leads the assessment of competency gaps and training needs by analyzing feedback and performance data. Designs, develops, and enhances wealth management training programs and curricula. Manages and updates the curriculum for the wealth management business of assignment. Collaborates with the Wealth Management units and heads to align training with business objectives and compliance standards. Coordinates with WLD officers to ensure effective delivery of training programs. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of training programs and prepares insights reports to drive continuous improvement and demonstrate business impact. Performs other duties, functions, or/and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.   Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. At least 4 years experience in training and wealth management (e.g., Trust, Private Banking, Securities brokerage, Treasury, others). Experience in program management, training and facilitation, learning and development. Fundamental knowledge of asset classes, portfolio diversification and investment products from a financial literacy perspective. Familiarity with training needs assessment, design, development and evaluation methods. Experience with various training formats: in-person, e-learning, webinars and blended learning.Proficiency with e-learning platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and educational tools. Solid background in investments and wealth management principles. Strong organizational, project management and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills. Ability to simplify complex financial concepts for diverse audiences. Proficient in e-learning platforms, instructional design tools, applications like PowerPoint, Excel, Zoom, Canva.Analytical skills for assessing training BDO Unibank, Inc. provides equal opportunity to all qualified candidates.
