JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious sales professional to drive results with one of the most forward-looking asset management firms in Canada.
This internal sales position works within wealth distribution under the brand of Sun Life Global Investments. Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Wealth Sales Director (external wholesaler) and a Wealth Sales Coordinator (administrative coordinator) to generate sales within your assigned territory
  • Assist investment advisors and insurance specialists with Sun Life Global Investments’ solutions, business building practices and competitor analysis
  • Generate sales and lead development through proactive outbound telephone calls and email communications
  • Input & utilize the CRM/database with all the information pertaining to designated region in order to plan and prioritize activities with advisors
  • Participate in national, regional, and project group meetings, sharing feedback and information and actively participate in sales workshops
  • Organize and execute conferences calls and webcasts to liaison product and practice management
  • Assist wholesaler in developing client base segmentation and a strategic business plan to increase sales from advisors in region
  • Travel to branches, conferences and advisor functions within designated regions in order to further develop advisor relationships (2-4 times annually).
