We are looking for a Weapon Air Combat Systems Analyst to join our team in support of the Air Combat Command (ACC) contract. This role focuses on analyzing and interpreting weapon system requirements for advanced fighter aircraft, ensuring these needs are translated into comprehensive technical documentation and resource planning materials.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI
  • 3 years’ experience at a major Air Force command (MAJCOM) or higher-level staff position, encompassing operational roles or specialized program areas relevant to the ACC mission portfolio.
  • Background as a fighter pilot is required.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to convert operational and technical weapon system demands into clear analytical reports. Collaborate regularly with stakeholders including military personnel, developers, industry partners, and defense agencies to align system development efforts with Department of Defense priorities.
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of resource planning activities, including budgeting, programming, and financial management of weapon system initiatives. Support thorough evaluations of system capabilities, costs, and program performance to underpin strategic decision-making and support senior leadership briefings.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for rapid acquisition initiatives, such as quick deployment requirements and capability gap analyses, in accordance with Headquarters Air Force policies and strategic directives.
  • Participate in technical studies and provide analytical input to identify shortfalls in current capabilities and recommend improvements to meet evolving combat challenges within the assigned mission scope.
  • Facilitate collaboration and data consistency across multiple working groups and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure cohesive development and evaluation of system resources.
