With the Infoplaza Weather Technology team we are passionate about pushing the boundaries of weather forecasting, both on land and at sea. The team covers multiple specializations, including:

• Remote Sensing & Observations – Processing and integrating weather station, radar, and satellite data available for accurate forecasting.
• Wave & Weather Models – Developing and enhancing in-house wave and weather models for both land and marine solutions for short- and long-term forecasting.
• Infoplaza Optimal & Scenario Weather Model – Creating the most reliable weather forecasts using advanced techniques.
• Decision Support Models – Translating weather data into actionable insights for industries such as road-ice maintenance , maritime operations, and consumer services.
• WeatherTech Tooling – Building cutting-edge tools to generate, validate, edit, and distribute datasets.

As Team Lead Weather Technology, you will play a key role in both technical innovation and team leadership. With AI and technology evolving rapidly, we are entering an exciting and dynamic era. As Team Lead, you will guide your team in keeping Infoplaza Technology at the highest level. This involves tasks such as:

• Strategic Planning - At Infoplaza, we work with a clear vision, outlined in long-term and trimester-based plans. As Team Lead you will collaborate with your team to translate these goals into a structured roadmap for both short- and long-term innovation.
• Collaboration - You’ll work closely with key stakeholders, including the Management Team, Weather Expert Center (operational meteorologists), business developers, Product Owners and the Infra & Support department, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
• Hands-on Projectmanagement - You will have a hands-on approach within the team and actively contribute to projects with your expertise in at least one area of the WeatherTech ecosystem on a daily basis. Together with your team, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the entire Weather Technology ecosystem.
• Leading the Team - Additionally, you will coach and mentor your team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration, while ensuring high-quality technical execution. As it is an international team, English is the primary spoken language.
