UNIT DESCRIPTION
As partners in learning, Student Affairs departments collaborate, communicate, coordinate, and co-create accessible programs and services with colleagues across campus, including Faculty and Program stakeholders. Dedicated to the success of the whole student, Student Affairs units integrate seamlessly to provide a welcoming and inclusive space that supports students’ well-being and sense of belonging. This foundation of support fosters transformation and growth, enhancing student life and engagement beyond the classroom to enhance their academic experience.
The Student Success Centre (SSC), Student Affairs serves an integral, central role in the development and provision of innovative programs and services to students in the areas of First-Year Experience (including outreach, access, transition, and orientation, financial education and support), Academic & Writing Skills Development; Career Counselling, Employment and Experiential Learning, Entrepreneurship, International and Exchange Student Experience (IESE); Spiritual Care and Learning; Leadership Development.
The Student Success Centre works in strong collaboration with Student Affairs, Faculty, and University partners, as well as with external community partners through the Office of Community Engagement (OCE).
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the overall brand marketing strategic development for educational activities, managing and creating a variety of compelling print, web, and digital design projects from concept to completion that is fully accessible. Uses a high level of accuracy in content detail and design standards for the University to meet educational, research or communication objectives.
