Reporting directly to the Vice President of IT, you will have HR, tactical, and operational responsibility for the teams responsible for developing our web and mobile applications (iOS and Android). Your mission will be to ensure the quality, efficiency, and performance of web and mobile application development, while ensuring the professional growth of your teams. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary IT teams (Functional Analysts, Quality Assurance, Support, Architecture, etc.) to deliver innovative solutions that meet the organization’s business needs.

Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise, lead, and develop a talented team of web and mobile developers.
  • Develop and optimize the software architecture of applications while adhering to the recommendations and guidelines established by the Architecture and Security teams.
  • Manage and optimize large-scale Agile development processes (SAFe).
  • Develop the technical and personal skills of your team members through coaching, mentoring, and targeted training.
  • Ensure close collaboration with cross-functional IT teams to ensure the integrity, integration, and consistency of the delivered technical solutions.
  • Promote a culture of technology monitoring and continuous innovation within your department/department.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in software development, including several years managing technical teams.
  • Extensive experience as a technical leader and/or application architect, with a demonstrated ability to design, evaluate, and optimize robust and scalable software architectures.
  • Solid experience working with large-scale Agile/Scrum methods (SAFe, Nexus, LeSS), including a thorough understanding of the dynamics and challenges associated with these approaches.
  • Extensive proficiency in Microsoft .NET development and proven application debugging skills.
  • Good knowledge of another programming language such as Java or PHP is preferred.
