Position Overview We are seeking a talented Web & API Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright to join our growing quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing solutions for our web applications and APIs, ensuring that our products are of the highest quality. You will collaborate with development teams to optimize testing processes and improve overall software performance. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web applications and APIs using Playwright. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather testing requirements and implement effective automation strategies. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner. Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline to support a seamless deployment process. Document test plans, procedures, and results while providing clear feedback and recommendations for improvements. Participate in code reviews and provide insights to enhance the quality of the testing framework. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in test automation, specifically regarding Playwright and related technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in web and API test automation, with a strong focus on Playwright. Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python. Experience with RESTful APIs and testing frameworks. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
