We are building an innovative platform that combines real estate listings, investment crowdfunding, and property management tools into a single solution. Our mission is to make real estate investment and property management accessible, transparent, and profitable for everyone.
Project Scope

We are seeking a skilled Web App Developer to build our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) within a budget of $2,000 - 3,000 CAD. The MVP will include:

• User-friendly property listing system (manual + API imports)
• Investor dashboard for crowdfunding opportunities
• Basic property management features (tenant tracking, rent logging)
• Admin panel for platform management
• Responsive design for desktop and mobile
• Stripe integration for payments
• Hosting setup on GoDaddy Gen4 VPS Linux 2 CPU 4GB RAM

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with founders to design and develop MVP features
• Build the front-end (React, Next.js, or Flutter for web)
• Set up the backend (Node.js, Django, or Laravel – open to best recommendation)
• Integrate MLS/real estate APIs (where feasible in MVP)
• Ensure platform security and scalability (firewall, HTTPS, backups)
• Deliver clean, well-documented code for future scaling
• Deploy MVP to VPS with full testing

Requirements

• Proven experience building web apps or SaaS platforms
• Strong skills in React / Next.js / Flutter (web) and backend frameworks
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB)
• Knowledge of API integration (REST, GraphQL, MLS preferred)
• Familiarity with payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, etc.)
• Experience deploying apps on Linux VPS hosting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within budget/timeline

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with real estate, proptech, or fintech platforms
• Knowledge of crowdfunding frameworks or compliance
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 / Azure integration

Compensation

• Contract: $2,000 - 3,000 CAD for MVP build
• Potential for long-term collaboration as HomesReach grows
• Equity or profit-sharing opportunities available for the right candidate
