QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in full-stack web development (Python/Django, JavaScript, SQL, RESTful APIs, HTML/CSS)
  • Ability to translate operational needs into technical solutions and scalable systems
  • Experience with reporting and data visualization (e.g., Chart.js, D3, or similar libraries)
  • Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and Agile development practices
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts, data pipelines, or tools like scikit-learn, transformers, or GPT APIs, strongly preferred
  • Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services and agreement with the goal, purpose and objectives of the agency.
    HOURS OF WORK: Monday- Friday, 40 hours
Responsibilities
  • Build intuitive front-end and robust back-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, SQL, and frameworks like Django or Flask with high quality UX.
  • Design and enforce data validation rules, maintain clean database schemas, and implement audit logging to ensure system reliability and accountability.
  • Develop structured forms and workflows to capture and standardize data from across departments.
  • Create automated reports and interactive dashboards to aid leadership in monitoring performance metrics, track trends, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide end-user support and training, including documentation, walkthroughs, and feedback collection to ensure broad adoption and effective usage.
  • Work with department leaders and process facilitators to gather requirements, interpret process map workflows, and translate business needs into detailed robust technical solutions.
  • Maintain thorough technical documentation, including user guides, process maps, system architecture diagrams, and code repositories.
  • Implement secure coding practices, including authentication/authorization standards, data encryption, and activity logging.
  • Maintain awareness of data privacy regulations (such as HIPAA) and support compliance efforts in system design and implementation.
  • Help structure data and design workflows with AI-readiness in mind—ensuring clean, accessible datasets for future analytics.
  • Participate in exploratory projects involving basic AI integrations (e.g., report summarization, predictive metrics), with mentorship and oversight from the Systems and Innovation team.
  • Responsible for timely Quality Assurance compliance as related to employee’s roles and functions.
  • Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position. The employee must maintain a consistent work schedule and be available during the assigned hours to perform the duties of this role
