Job Title: Web Application Developers
Location: V arious and unanticipated work sites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Chicago, IL)
Job Description: Maintain and enhance software applications and related data infrastructure. Serve as the design lead for all web-based databases and software applications, software development life cycle (SDLC). Architect and implement cloud-native web applications. Leverage Azure and .NET for development and deployment in cloud environments. Gather user requirements and translate them into robust data enhancement. Develop interactive prototypes, model data and identify and rectify software application system errors. Work with IS’s server and database administrators. Document application development, scripts, maintenance, and automated processes. Tools: Cloud technologies, DevOps; MS Azure Cloud Services (Functions, Cosmos DB, Web App Services, Key Vault, Storage, Static Web Apps, Cognitive Services, Insights, CLI), Powershell; .NET, Blazor, ASP.NET, NET API; Oracle and other relational databases; PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, C#, CSS3; HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery; CSS; SQL server; Bootstrap; distributed version control systems (DVCS) (Git, Team Foundation Version Control (TFVC); LINQ, XAML, Oracle SQL, Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, Postman, Chrome DevTools, MVC.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, E-Commerce Technology or related field plus 3 years of experience as a Developer or with IT/software development required. Skills Required: Must have previous experience in higher education environment with full SDLC, architecting; cloud technologies, .NET, Blazor, ASP.NET, NET API; Oracle and other relational databases; PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, C#, CSS3; HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery for frontend development; SQL server; LINQ, XAML, Oracle SQL, Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, Postman, Chrome DevTools, distributed version control systems (DVCS) (Git, Team Foundation Version Control (TFVC); MVC; Bootstrap.
