SUMMARY:
The Web Content Specialist assists with content on Memorial Healthcare System’s digital web platform. Ensures that web content supports system’s overarching marketing and communications goals and complies with Memorial Healthcare System (MHS) brand guidelines and policies. Implements daily and long-term web enhancements to support consumer engagement initiatives. Monitors website analytics with a focus on improving areas of User Experience and Search Engine Optimization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains accessibility and compliance standards across the website. Conducts periodic reviews to ensure adherence to ADA requirements and implements necessary adjustments. Organizes and manages media files systematically to maintain a cohesive digital library.Ensures all web content adheres to Memorial Healthcare System branding and digital strategy.Enforces brand consistency across all pages and assets by following style guides, templates, and business objectives and maintain compliance with corporate policies and quality standards in every content deployment.Maintains the website as an effective marketing tool through strategic research and planning and conducts regular audits and competitive analyses to identify areas of improvement and recommends enhancements to elevate the user experience. Partners with vendors to implement technical or content-related upgrades.Facilitates cross-functional collaboration to ensure web content is current and relevant.Coordinates with the Marketing, Communications, and Creative teams to collect and publish regional updates, campaign assets, and corporate announcements as well as promote ongoing communication across hospitals and service lines for content needs.Develops and maintains reports to evaluate site traffic, user engagement, and conversion metrics. Uses insights to guide optimization strategies and provide recommendations to leadership.Implements and manages search engine optimization (SEO) and marketing (SEM) strategies.Optimizes content and structure of web pages to increase search visibility and digital reach and collaborates with the Manager to develop ongoing improvement plans based on SEO/SEM best practices.Supports technical aspects of web development to enhance performance and functionality.Applies knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and LESS to build and maintain web elements and stays up-to-date on CMS capabilities, especially Sitecore, and assists with technical troubleshooting.Coordinates website content planning and development across Memorial Healthcare System properties by ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of content by working closely with departments and service lines. Serves as a liaison to internal stakeholders to facilitate requests and implement new features and updates.Translates marketing and informational materials into engaging, functional website content andworks closely with the Manager and Creative Team to design, edit, and post content such as articles, brochures, event listings, and press releases. Supports special projects by converting campaign materials into web-ready assets.Provides innovative ideas and guidance to enhance Memorial’s online presence. Recommends new tools, features, or improvements based on emerging web technologies and marketing trends and collaborates with IT and other teams to improve the technical infrastructure and performance of the site.
