Job Description
We are seeking a creative and skilled Web Designer to join our office in Lausanne. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to design user-friendly and visually appealing websites, applications and mobile apps. As a Web Designer at Darwin Digital, you will work closely with our development and marketing teams to create websites that meet our clients’ needs and exceed their expectations.
Key Responsibilities

- Design user-friendly and visually appealing websites and mobile apps.

- Create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to illustrate design ideas.

- Ensure websites are optimized for various devices and browsers.

- Collaborate with developers to ensure the technical feasibility of designs.

- Work with the marketing team to ensure designs align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

- Design and edit images for websites, mobile applications, digital advertising, and social media.

- Occasionally create logos and edit videos.

- Assist the marketing team in designing brochures, flyers, PowerPoint presentations, and other digital and printed materials.

- Participate in client meetings to understand their requirements and provide design solutions.

- Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
Qualifications

- 5 years of proven experience as a Web or Interactive Media Designer with a strong portfolio.

- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and Figma.

- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

- Excellent attention to detail and creativity.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

- Digital Marketing knowledge is considered a plus.

- Professional proficiency in English (B2 level).
