We are looking for a skilled and performance-driven Web Designer with strong technical abilities and SEO knowledge to help craft a modern, intuitive, and conversion-optimized web presence for our Nextcloud ecosystem. Your work will play a vital role in shaping user journeys, improving performance, and presenting our technically advanced solutions in a clear and engaging way while upholding our mission and values. Tasks Design visually compelling, responsive website layouts and landing pages. Create UI/UX designs optimized for intuitive user journeys across all device types. Optimize site architecture, content structure, and technical elements for SEO. Monitor, analyze, and improve website performance (speed, accessibility, conversion). Implement design solutions compatible with Nextcloud templates, theming, and integrations. Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, usability standards, and SEO practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain visual consistency and brand identity. Provide graphics, icons, and assets for UI elements and web components. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Web Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field. 3-4 years of professional experience in Web Design, UI/UX, or a similar role Proven experience as a Web Designer or UI/UX Designer. Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks. Solid knowledge of SEO fundamentals, technical SEO, and on-page optimization. Experience in compliant, privacy-centric behavioral analytics frameworks to derive actionable insights for optimized user journey design. Proficiency with design tools (Adobe). Strong sense of visual aesthetics, typography, and modern design trends. Performance-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
