JOB DESCRIPTION:

Dankos Media Group is seeking a skilled and versatile Web Designer/Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in WordPress, Elementor, AWS, HTML5, and Adobe Creative Suite tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), Figma, along with some knowledge of PHP, JavaScript and CSS.
This role is project-based and requires someone capable of working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in web design and development with at least 2 years of professional experience.
• Expertise in WordPress, Elementor, Wix, including theme and plugin customization.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and basic PHP coding.
• Familiarity with AWS for hosting and website management.
• Skilled in using Adobe Creative Suite tools (Photoshop, Illustrator) to create design assets.
• Experience with eCommerce website buildout/backend - Shopify and WooCommerce would be an asset
• Strong portfolio demonstrating web design and development projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines, without compromising quality
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites using WordPress and Elementor.
• Customize themes, templates, and plugins to meet client needs and project specifications.
• Ability to create FIGMA designs and possibly bring FIGMA designs to life into WordPress would be a preferred asset.
• Collaborate with the creative team to produce visually compelling and user-friendly web designs.
• Work with HTML5, CSS, and PHP to implement and enhance website functionality.
• Integrate and manage websites on AWS for optimal performance and scalability.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) to create web assets and graphics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, ensuring cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
• Deliver high-quality work within quick turnaround times, without compromising on quality or functionality.
• Stay updated with the latest web technologies, tools, and design trends.
