Summary/Objectives: Designing, coding and modifying websites and web applications to be functional, aesthetically pleasing, and user-friendly. This involves writing code in languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, collaborating with designers to bring visual concepts to life, debugging issues, and maintaining the site/application after it's built. Key responsibilities also include ensuring performance, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.  Essential Responsibilities * Design and development: Create and maintain websites and web applications by writing and testing code. This includes both the front-end (what the user sees) and back-end (the server-side logic). * Collaboration: Work closely with web designers, project managers, and other professionals to align technical requirements with user and business goals. * User experience: Implement features that provide a seamless and user-friendly experience, ensuring the site is responsive, accessible, and easy to navigate. * Performance and maintenance: Optimize websites for speed and performance, monitor for technical issues, and perform regular maintenance and updates to enhance and expand functionality. * Technical implementation: Translate UI/UX designs into actual code, design the overall architecture of the web application, and integrate APIs or other third-party services Competencies 1. Technical skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is fundamental. 2. Problem-solving: Ability to debug and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently. 3. Adaptability: Stay up-to-date with evolving internet innovations and new technologies. 4. Communication: Clearly communicate with colleagues to understand requirements and coordinate development efforts. Work Environment This position operates in professional office setting or from a remote work space. Work Schedule 40 hours a week   Physical Demands The physical requirements that are essential to perform this job are to talk and to hear. It will also be required by the employee to frequently stand; walk, lift up to 25 Lbs., to use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Travel No travel is needed for this position.
