Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with JavaScript language features (ES6+, Promises).
• Strong experience in React
• Experience performance tuning JavaScript/browser applications.
• Experience developing single-page applications.
• Champion of web standards, accessibility, and modern web development industry standards.
• Experience with test-driven development and tools like Cypress, Jest
• Nice to have - Experience with any of the following: server-side JavaScript (Node.js), GraphQL, TypeScript

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with Engineers, Data Analysts, Product Managers, and User Experience experts to craft an experience
• Collaborate on technical designs and estimates for solutions to implement the new features per Product’s specifications.
• Work with an open, inclusive team engineers who are committed to continuous improvement, and quality.
• Participate in code reviews. On our team we share knowledge, help each other learn new things, and thrive on making our code better.
• Write code and comprehensive tests (unit, UI, e2e).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience building web applications with modern JavaScript frameworks - React, Angular.
• Experience with JavaScript.
• Experience with modern CSS.
• Experience with git or other distributed version control systems.
• Experience building and debugging apps on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, and mobile browsers).
• Interest in working with a team that values testing.
• Passionate about building good user interfaces.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience
