Description

Web Developer Criterion Systems, Inc., is seeking a Microsoft Web Developer to support a USDA-Forest Service contract based in Boise, ID. Established in 1905, the Forest Service (FS) is a federal agency that manages public lands in national forests and grasslands under a founding principle, "To provide the greatest amount of good for the greatest amount of people in the long run". The right candidate will have experience providing Operations & Maintenance support on existing applications and managing enhancement releases. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Web Developer: Pay commensurate with experience. Web Developer Responsibilities Include: * Self-motivated and professional in demeanor with proven success as a web developer in an Agile environment delivering fixes and enhancements. * Proven ability to interface successfully with the customer/client to drive high customer satisfaction and a positive team environment. This includes excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to navigate challenging situations with nuance and skill. * Experience with defining and documenting deliverable objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning features and functionality. * Experience with debugging and resolving issues in both the back-end (Node.js) and the front end Vue.js (Vue3). * Experience with completing applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms. * Experience with AWS web development, Jira, GitHub, CI/CD pipeline management, Jenkins, SonarQube, WebSphere / Tomcat, HTML, and related technologies is desired. * Experience and understanding of 508 compliance concepts and methodologies.
