Trilogy seeks a Web Developer with ColdFusion experience to join our growing team. Our mission is to provide technical services required to sustain automation solutions in the areas of claims processing, business rules engine, data extraction, document generation, business and financial transaction calculations, exceptions handling, business analytics, quality assurance, interface development and integration, data integration, testing and validation, and innovation to include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing for a large federal agency.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:



    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.

    • Minimum 4 years of experience developing web applications and sites with ColdFusion/CFML, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, AJAX, and SQL.
    • Knowledge of WCAG / Section 508 web accessibility guidelines.
    • Demonstrated ability to create clean, usable user interfaces.
    • Familiarity with VSCode, Dreamweaver, or similar IDEs.
    • Experience with SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.
    • Experience building and consuming web APIs using both XML and JSON.
    • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



      • Preferred daily work hours to support the Pacific Time Zone; 8 am - 4:30 pm PT weekdays.

      • Prior work in the Department of Veterans Affairs oranotherU.S. Federal Governmentagency.
      • Experience in a large research organization, especially one focused onhealthcare.
      • Experience with BootStrap or another similar front-end framework.
      • Familiarity with jQuery,CommandBox, and Git source control.
      • Familiarity with query optimization and other performance improvement best practices.
      • Experience migrating applications to a new version of ColdFusion.
      Responsibilities


        • Develop, upgrade, and maintain complex web-based applications to meet client requirements.

        • Integrate web applications with back-end SQL databases and external APIs.
        • Ensure that site code is efficient, clean, testable, and secure.
        • Ensure that user interfaces are accessible, clear, and user-friendly.
        • Perform testing to ensure accuracy and proper performance.
        • Work with team members and other staff to find ways to continuously improve application functionality and user experience.
        • Coordinate work with the Database Administrator, Program Director, and other team members.
        • Respond in a timely manner to reported problems and alerts in the applications.
        • Write and edit technical documentation.
        • Complete ad hoc/ special projects at the request of the Program Director.
        • Provide expert technical advice to the Program Director and other staff.
